Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprentice

New World Nursery

£15,704.00 - 40 hours per week

Working week: Monday to Friday

To play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in early years settings, while working towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship.

Role and responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum 
  • Assist in creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children 
  • Work as part of a team under the guidance of qualified practitioners  
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, professionals and colleagues 
  • Take increasing responsibility as their skills and knowledge grow 
  • Ensure children’s safety, health and welfare at all times 
  • Support children’s play, learning and development through activities and observations 
  • Observe and record children's progress, contributing to reports and planning  
  • Support equal opportunities and respect diversity  
  • Attend training, reflect on practice and complete coursework to achieve the qualification 
  • Follow safeguarding policies, raising concerns about children’s welfare appropriately 
  • Assist colleagues with daily routines (mealtimes, toileting, setting up activities)  
  • Share information effectively with parents and the wider team

Training and support
