Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprentice

Working week: Monday: 08:30am - 16:30pm Tuesday: 08:30am - 16:30pm Wednesday - Friday : 08:30am - 15:30pm

Dryden School are looking for a motivated and passionate apprentice to join their team. If you have an interest in working within a school , and working towards a teaching assistant qualifcation, then now is the time to apply!

Role and responsibilities

  • Supervising pupil's behaviour and demeanour in accordance with staff guidance.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the teaching environment and assisting with pupil care.
  • Aiding teachers with administrative tasks and supporting pupil's development through various activities.
  • Applying knowledge of Special Educational Neds (SEN) as per the SEN code of practice.
  • Ensuring a safe environment for pupil's and staff and promoting Every Child Matters.
  • Contributing to the schools Self Evaluation process while adhering to policies and regulations.
  • Setting high expectations for pupils and respecting their backgrounds for educational success.
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies for a conducive learning environment.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues, seeking help and self-improvement.
  • Building and sustaining positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
