REQUIREMENTS
- Apprentices aged 16 to 18 at the start of their training are required to achieve Level 2 Maths and English qualifications, or GCSEs C/4 or above to complete their apprenticeship, if they do not already hold suitable equivalent qualifications. For those aged 19+ at the start of their training, study can also be funded up to an approved Level 2 in English or maths or both, achievement is not mandatory and employers can choose to opt out.
- You must be working in an educational/advisory setting with particular emphasis on careers guidance.
- This is a graduate level, work-based qualification to develop your skills and knowledge in the workplace and you must be able to complete work at this level. For those working in professional roles providing career development to clients and applying career development theories and models to support clients making realistic and informed decisions in their career journey. e.g Working in educational settings, Schools, Colleges, Training organisations, Careers and Employment services and HR/learning development departments in both the Public and Private sector
- ‘Off the job’ training must be provided (509 hours)
- Support from an employment mentor with regular reviews.
