Community Activator (Level 2)
What do they do?
Community activators help organisations encourage more people to take part in sport, exercise and local activities. They can:
- Plan and deliver safe, inclusive activity sessions
- Motivate children and adults to become more active
- Support events, promotion and community engagement
Build a confident front-line team that can increase participation, strengthen local relationships and support healthier communities.
Community Sport and Health Officer(Level 3)
What do they do?
Community sport and health officers use physical activity to improve wellbeing, tackle inactivity and engage people across local communities. They can:
- Plan and coordinate health, sport and wellbeing initiatives
- Build partnerships with community groups and local services
- Use participation data to improve reach, impact and engagement
Develop staff who can deliver meaningful community outcomes while strengthening your organisation’s local presence and social impact.
Community Wellbeing Worker (Level 3)
What do they do?
Community wellbeing workers support people to improve their health, confidence and independence by connecting them with the right services and local opportunities. They can:
- Build trusted relationships with individuals and communities
- Identify wellbeing needs and provide practical, person-centred support
- Signpost people to health, social and community services
Strengthen your frontline support by developing staff who can engage hard-to-reach groups and help prevent needs from escalating.
Employability Practitioner (Level 4)
What do they do?
Employability practitioners help people overcome barriers, build confidence and move towards sustainable work or training. They can:
- Assess individual needs and create tailored action plans
- Provide practical guidance on skills, applications and progression
- Work with employers and support services to create opportunities
Develop staff who can improve employment outcomes, strengthen partnerships and deliver more effective support to the people your organisation serves.
